Happy Anniversary America! (Thank you for indoor plumbing)

Our Fourth of July weekend ended with some berry picking at Larriland Farms in Woodbine, Maryland and a visit to the house.

After picking black raspberries and blueberries, we headed to the gift shop to buy some sweet cherries. You can't expect us to work for all of the fruit! It's hot out there!

Seriously, it was really fun and I even ran into a friend who is also studying for the Bar Exam. Apparently, picking fruit is a good distractor from Bar studying.

Next, we headed over to the house to see the progress made on the plumbing this week.

Tub in the garage

Furnace and Water heater

Electrical stuff

Superman vision through walls and up stairs

Refrigerator

Fireplace is in!

Gas for the stove I need to learn how to use

Looking up stairs from second floor to third floor

Another cool stairs shot

On the stairs between floors. Up and left is master closet, up and right is master bedroom.

Michael trying to look menacing with a 2x4 and a smile.

Rub a dub dub...we have a tub!

Demonstrating the other soon-to-be-installed feature of our upstairs hall bathroom

Upstairs hall sink. Isn't it lovely?

Michael: "I'm just testing the wood strength." (I smile while admiring the plumbing for the washer and dryer)

Looking through more walls from the master bedroom down the stairs to the living room

We've seen the bags of floor mud for weeks wondering what it is

Pretty sure this is where the floor mud went (in the shower)

The master bathroom toilet will go here. You can see the gas line in the kitchen through the hole. No, I will not make a dirty joke about how you can see the gas line right below the bathroom.

Beautiful bathroom, isn't it?

I love MY closet

Second system in the attic

The back of our row

Drywall is just around the corner!!!

The house is turning out beautifully! Very exciting stuff. Glad to hear you are taking at least one day a week to de-stress a bit and have fun with the family. Good luck with studying!
