We have a moat

On Monday, Michael and I met with Guardian and the electrician to finalize locations of security, phone/cable ports, speakers, and lighting. For the record, both the Guardian people and the electrician loved my pink hard hat.

The progress has been great in the past week. The stairs are up, most of the windows are in, the framing looks like it is pretty much complete, and the plumber starts this week! Even the HVAC is in! We should have drywall up in about two weeks. We saw Asif running around and he kindly stopped to answer our "pressing" questions. He truly is one of the nicest people ever. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful project manager overlooking our house!

Our moat

Crossing the moat (I wore sneakers this week.)

Putting the shingles on the roof

Thank goodness I don't have to climb up there

Patio doors in the rec room

Dining/Living Room windows (I love the arches at the top!)

Marking the front three surround sound speakers in the Family Room

Moving upstairs...
The "R's" on the floor mark where recessed lighting will go above in the "office" aka Bedroom #3

Looking from Bedroom #2 down the hall to the "Owner's Suite" (The green on the right shows where the intercom goes)

Owner's Suite (The "Tray" marking on the floor indicates lighting for the tray ceiling)

Our closet (The circles with LT are symbols for the lights)
